Parents' Information
|
Our school day runs to the following schedule:
Where Nursery afternoons are available the children will finish at 3.20pm. See office for details. Before schoolBefore school, children congregate in the playgrounds, which are supervised, from 8.40am. For this reason children should not arrive before this time. Children should walk around the outside of school to the appropriate playgrounds. Parents may park in the Village Car Park as the School Car Park is dedicated only to staff parking and our convenient ‘Drop ’n’ Go’ scheme for parents in the morning. Please do not pull into the bays in the morning. Please do not park outside the KS2 playground on the main road or on the yellow zigzag lines. We have a travel plan, encouraging children to walk to school, as parking is limited. Car sharing is also encouraged. The bell rings at 8.50am and the children line up. Parents are requested to leave promptly.
End of the dayAt the end of the day Infant children must be collected from their classrooms by an adult. Parents should wait outside the classrooms until the teacher dismisses the children. Children should be collected promptly at 3.20pm. If you are going to be late, you should make arrangements for another adult to collect your child and inform the school office of the changes. Children should not be left unsupervised at the end of the day. |
