Welcome to High Wych CE Primary School. I am extremely proud to be the
Headteacher of this one form entry happy and successful school set in beautiful
surroundings. At the heart of our school are our children. Our ambition is for
every child to fulfil their potential and we celebrate everyone’s uniqueness and
the gifts and talents that they have.

Our Christian Vision and Values encourage a real sense of community, working in
partnership with parents, governors and local community to ensure that all
children are happy and achieve well. We build strong relationships in our school
that allow each individual to develop academically, spiritually and personally.
Children are supported in becoming confident and independent young people,
who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn. Through a broad curriculum,
we support children to develop their skills to become confident, individuals and
lifelong learners with enquiring and creative minds.

We are mindful that above everything else, we need to ensure that the Social,
Emotional, and Mental Health needs are met for every child on a daily basis. We
know that when children feel safe and secure, and have the right mind-set, they
are more able to tackle the curriculum, learn to the best of their ability and
truly flourish in their primary education and every child is precious and it is a
privilege to play an active part in their development.
